Tony graduated from Columbia Military Academy with a degree in the Classical Course of Study.
Tony attended Memphis State University on a Football Scholarship and worked as a Graduate Assistant while attending Law School.
Tony has been a Tax Law Instructor with the Internal Revenue Service Instructor Cadre. Tony has taught Tax Law and Accounting at both Columbia State Community College and Nashville State Technical College.
Tony was an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service for six years in the Estate and Gift Tax Division.
Tony has been married to Mary Ruth Collins Edwards for forty-five years and has two sons, Benjamin Edwards and Charles Edwards.
